A Legacy of Excellence

History

Founded in 1997 by David L. Hatton in Houston, Texas. previously known as Facilities Electric, Inc. The company began as a four-person startup built on a simple philosophy: treat people well, deliver dependable service with integrity, and build lasting client partnerships. As demand grew, the company expanded its capabilities from traditional electrical contracting to large-scale commercial construction, backup power systems, and advanced electrical infrastructure solutions. In the early 2000s, Facilities Mechanical, Inc. was established to provide HVAC, retrofit, preventive maintenance, and energy-efficient mechanical services—complementing the electrical division while operating independently. Today, the two divisions have been fully integrated into one organization employing more than 200 professionals, united by a commitment to safety, technical excellence, disciplined growth, and long-term investment in both people and the communities they serve.

Keely Nguyen

Executive
Administrator

Keely Nguyen is an Executive Administrator supporting executive leadership through

scheduling coordination, client and partner communication, and day-to-day operational support within the construction industry. She works across all departments to streamline communication, support company initiatives and events from planning through execution, and help ensure organizational alignment. Prior to entering the construction industry, Keely gained valuable experience in the restaurant industry, where she developed strong skills. She now applies in her role supporting construction operations and executive leadership.

Vita Figueroa

Accounting Administrator Admin

Vita Figueroa began her career in accounting after working with an attorney who requested her

assistance with collections. Through that experience, she discovered a strong talent for collections and financial management, which inspired her to pursue a degree in accounting. With over 15 years of experience, she has developed extensive expertise in full-cycle billing, accounts receivable management, payroll processing, collections, and overall accounting operations. Her background includes invoice creation, payment processing, AIA contract billings, billing dispute resolution, and cash flow management. Vita collaborates closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure billing accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial processes while maintaining positive customer relationships. She also oversees weekly payroll processing for more than 200 employees across three companies, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation, payroll record management, and check issuance.

Autumn Baker

Business Development Executive

Autumn Baker is a construction industry professional with 9 years of experience in sales and

client relations. She earned her Business Marketing Degree from The C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, along with a Corporate Entrepreneurship Certificate, and Leadership Excellence. Autumn is also a proud advocate for the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, supporting initiatives that create lasting impact for children and families worldwide.

Tim Adkins

Tim is an Army veteran, entrepreneur, and mechanical construction executive with a track

record of building highgrowth companies and leading largescale industrial, commercial, and mission-critical projects throughout the U.S. and abroad. Drawing from his experience in the United States Army Rangers, he combines leadership, accountability, and strategic execution to drive business growth and operational excellence. A Northwestern University graduate with a master’s in Executive Management for Construction and Design, he is committed to creating impactful partnerships and building organizations centered on performance, purpose, and sustainable growth.

Marcelino Bravo

Vice President, Commercial Electrical Services / Special Projects

Marcelino Bravo is a Master Electrician and commercial electrical leader with 30 years

of experience in the industry. After moving to Texas at 17 to begin his career, he worked his way up from helper to executive leadership through dedication, technical expertise, and a passion for complex troubleshooting. Marcelino later earned his Master Electrician license while building and leading a high-performing commercial service department known for handling major outages, emergency repairs, and complex installations. His leadership is driven by accountability, operational excellence, team development, and a strong commitment to safe, highquality work.

John Harrington

Vice President, Mechanical Estimating

John has been a dedicated professional in the mechanical contracting industry since 1985

and has been a valued member of Facilities Mechanical for the past 17 years. With extensive expertise in Estimating and Project Management, he has played a key role in supporting the company’s growth and continued success. His industry knowledge, leadership, and commitment to excellence have contributed significantly to delivering quality projects and building strong client relationships.

Joe McDonald

Vice President, Commercial Electrical Solutions

Joe McDonald serves as Vice President at TBrock Facility Specialists, where he oversees

the company’s Electrical Construction Department and leads the execution of commercial and industrial electrical projects. With 28 years of industry experience, Joe brings extensive knowledge in project operations, team leadership, client relations, and field execution. Known for his relationship-focused approach, Joe has built a reputation for being dependable, responsive, and solutionsoriented. He is committed to delivering highquality results while maintaining strong partnerships with clients, vendors, and project teams throughout every phase of construction. His ability to solve complex challenges and keep projects moving efficiently has made him a trusted leader within the organization and among industry partners. Joe is passionate about building strong teams, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring projects are completed safely, effectively, and with a high level of professionalism.

Ricky Thorton

Vice President, Residential Electrical Solutions

Ricky is VP of the Luxury Residential Division at Facilities Electric. He has dedicated

24 years of leadership to Facilities Electric and has worked in the high-end residential market for over 43 years offering a personal experience to customers wanting a high-level quality electrical and lighting design and installation. He is customer service driven and always puts the clients’ needs first. With a master’s eye for detail, Ricky is versatile in the qualities that he brings to every project. A lifelong learner, Ricky loves reading in his leisure time as well as taking night classes at the University of St. Thomas to grow and expand his intellectual knowledge. Ricky finds enjoyment in volunteering at his church and with local community organizations. When possible, he spends time traveling with his wife and growing family.

Matt Melton

Vice President, Mechanical Operations

Mr. Melton has more than 20 years of experience in the mechanical industry with deep

expertise in mechanical systems and facility infrastructure, specializing in operations management, project execution, and team leadership. He has successfully lead multimillion dollar projects in sectors that include manufacturing, healthcare, education, and commercial construction. He combines technical knowledge with executive leadership to deliver innovative solutions.

Karen Wahl

Karen Wahl serves as Vice President of Accounting and brings more than 30 years

of experience in accounting and finance. She is a trusted and dependable member of the T-Brock team, working collaboratively across all departments to support the company’s ongoing success. Over the past 10 years with T-Brock, Karen has developed extensive operational and financial expertise, serving as a valuable resource for executive leadership, operations, and administrative teams. Her primary focus is maintaining the financial health and stability of the company while also ensuring employees remain informed about company policies, benefits programs, and safety expectations.

Nathan Sweat

Vice President, Residential HVAC Service

Nathan Sweat is the Residential Service Manager at T-Brock Facility Specialists,

bringing decades of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. He began his career in 1997 working alongside his father at Air Design and Control, where he developed a strong foundation in air conditioning, system design, and customer service. In 2013, Nathan continued his journey with Facilities Mechanical now rebranded as T-Brock Facility Specialists where he has played a key role in managing maintenance programs, coordinating service calls, pricing repairs and equipment replacements, and supporting both residential remodels and new construction projects. Known for his technical expertise and practical approach, Nathan is committed to delivering reliable solutions while building lasting relationships with the customers he serves.

Mark Hewlett

General SuperIntendent Electrical

Mark Hewlett brings over 22 years of proven leadership and hands-on experience in the electrical

industry, with a career built on performance, accountability, and excellence. Beginning in 2004 as a helper, Mark developed a deep understanding of the trade from the ground up, advancing through the roles of Journeyman, Service Technician, Foreman, and Superintendent. His diverse background across field operations has equipped him with the expertise to lead complex projects, drive productivity, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Mark is known for his ability to build strong teams, solve challenges in fast-paced environments, and consistently deliver results. As General Superintendent, Mark leads both small and large-scale projects with a strategic, results-driven approach. He provides oversight across multiple operations, mentors field leadership, and ensures that every project is executed with precision, efficiency, and integrity. His commitment to excellence and continuous improvement makes him a key driver of organizational success

Steve Gill

Executive Vice President

As an Electrical Engineer and licensed Master Electrician, Mr. Gill is capable of meeting the needs of

the most demanding commercial clients. He has worked in the electrical industry since 1980, with most of that experience in project management and estimating. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 1982. He has supplemented that degree with a Masters Study program at San Jacinto Jr. College, Accounting Courses at Houston Community College, and an Electrical Construction Estimating Course sponsored by NECA. Mr. Gill supplements our construction department with the capability of assisting a client with design/build projects. He is also able to receive “architectural lay-out” plans and prepare them for permitting/plan checking at the city. His experience ranges from Data Center, faith-based projects, to medical work. His goal remains constant; to complete the job on schedule and within budget. He has been with Facilities Electric, LLC since 1999.

Juan Aranda

General Superintendent Mechanical

Juan Aranda has dedicated more than 25 years to the HVAC industry, beginning his career in 2001 as a mechanical installer and working his way into leadership roles through hands-on experience, technical expertise, and strong work ethic. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive knowledge in mechanical installation, commissioning controls, building automation systems, and retrofitting pneumatic buildings into DDC systems. He later became co-owner of his own HVAC company, where he served as project manager and estimator, further developing his leadership and operational experience. For the past four years, Juan has brought his knowledge and dedication to T-Brock Facility Specialists, helping support the company’s continued growth and success. Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and father of three who values faith, family, and serving his community.
